  • New APEX variant with sportier ergonomics and road-focused tyres
  • Dash and Flash variants with improved grippier tyres and updated ride modes

Royal Enfield has launched the 2026 Guerrilla 450 with the addition of a more road-focussed APEX variant, while the existing Dash and Flash trims also receive changes that improve the overall package. The idea is to sharpen the range in areas that matter most to riders who enjoy a powerful roadster with urban agility for everyday use.

The new APEX variant is built around the same Sherpa engine but tuned in feel and stance to deliver a more committed road-going character. APEX gets lowered and repositioned aluminium handlebars to create a more forward-leaning ergonomic triangle. A slightly lower and more loaded front end makes turn-in feel more direct. APEX uses road-biased 17-inch Vredestein Centauro ST tyres meant to offer a sportier feel along with stronger grip on wet and low-friction surfaces. The company goes as far as calling them the widest and stickiest tyres in the category.

Royal Enfield has also updated the riding modes across the range. The APEX gets Street and Sport modes with mode retention (the motorcycle can remember the last selected mode even after the ignition is switched off). That same update extends to the Dash and Flash variants too. Further highlights include the Tripper Dash, a 4-inch round TFT display with Google Maps navigation, phone connectivity and media controls across all 2026 variants.

The Dash and Flash variants now get improved CEAT GRIPP XL RE tyres that use an enhanced compound and optimised tread pattern for better grip and more confidence in the wet. Dash now also has a new Twilight Blue colour which comes with complimentary handguards and headlight grille.

2026 model continues on the Sherpa platform with a 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 39bhp and 40Nm. Chassis uses a steel twin spar frame with the engine as a stressed member supported by 43mm telescopic forks up front and a linkage-type monoshock at the rear. The new update builds on a platform that already had a balance of usable torque, compact dimensions and accessible road manners.
