2026 Suzuki Burgman Street launched: Top five highlights

Suzuki has launched the 2026 Burgman Street at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are changes across design, features, frame etc. Here are the top highlights.

Starting with the design, the new Burgman Street has a sleeker and more premium look while retaining its maxi-style silhouette. It features split-lens LED headlights with integrated DRLs, compact LED indicators, an updated LED tail-lamp, a dark smoked windscreen, and a more stylish upswept muffler. There are a number of colours on offer, with the top-spec scooter getting copper inserts to distinguish it from the standard model.

In terms of features the higher-spec Burgman Street variant gets a 4.2-inch connected TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, along with a keyless system that allows remote control for the seat opening, steering lock, and fuel lid access. The scooter also comes with a USB charging outlet, dual utility hooks, and the Suzuki Easy Start System.

Powering the scooter is a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8.3bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. Suzuki has revised the CVT to improve acceleration in the 30-60kmph range, while a new exhaust and roller-type clutch aim to deliver a smoother and quieter riding experience.

Practicality has improved with an increase in storage capacity. The under-seat storage has grown from 21.5 litres to 24.6 litres and can now accommodate a full-face helmet. This has not come at the expense of fuel capacity, which sits at 5.5-litres.

Lastly, the Burgman Street continues to use a lightweight underbone frame that is now around 500g lighter and claimed to be 25 per cent stiffer in torsional rigidity. The scooter has a kerb weight of 114kg, while the TFT variant is heavier by one kilogram.
