350cc Triumph Speed, Scrambler Coming In April 2026 – What’s Behind The Downsize?

Triumph is bringing smaller-capacity (350cc) Speed and Scrambler motorcycles to India in April 2026 to create a new tier below its current 400cc offerings. It is relevant for Indian buyers because of the introduction of smaller-capacity Triumph roadsters and scramblers for the country’s largest mid-capacity segment. The new models are expected to belong to the same modern classic family as the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X but with new engines and pricing suited to the 300-350cc segment. It is a downward addition to the brand’s India portfolio rather than a replacement of existing motorcycles and suggests a two-tier approach to the brand’s entry premium category.

Being in the modern-classic class, the company’s entry into this displacement band means it can now directly compete in the country’s core aspirational upgrade segment. The potential 350 cc Speed- and Scrambler-style derivatives are therefore regulatory driven and not a change in direction.
