Benelli Unveils The New TRK 552X With More Power And Features

Benelli, the Chinese-owned Italian premium bike maker has introduced the new TRK 552X adventure motorcycle in the latest 2024 avatar. The new motorcycle gets both performance as well as aesthetic upgrades, as part of the latest revamp.

On the outside, the new design of TRK 552X maintains the essence of TRK 502, featuring all-new dual LED- headlights instead of old halogen bulbs, split seats, an aluminium brace integrated into the handle guards, an upswept exhaust, and a transparent visor on the front beak, which is now more bigger and sharper. Among the noteworthy additions are the various colour schemes that offer riders new choices. The rear section looks similar to 502.

Benelli has unveiled a new adventure motorcycle.

The bike-maker has replaced the old infotainment system with an all new 5-inch full-colour TFT screen that shows an array of ride information; it supports Bluetooth connectivity, and also has TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). Dual channel ABS comes as standard on the motorcycle.

A larger 552cc parallel-twin engine with a maximum power of 60 bhp and 55 Nm of massive Torque is now available for the TRK 552X. It is among the most potent adventure bikes in the class thanks to this number. Benelli has equipped this bike with a monoshock towards the rear end and a Marzocchi USD fork up front. It is a little strange, though, that the front wheel is a 19-inch cross-spoke wheel as the off-road readiness could have been increased with a 21-inch front wheel.

As of now, TRK 552X is sold in China only, but it is anticipated to reach the shores of the European market soon enough and the India launch is expected before the end of this year. The main competitor of Benelli will be the Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure.
