In terms of mechanical specifications, the 1200cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine is anticipated to deliver an increase in power compared to the standard model. While the standard bike produces 98.6bhp, the RS variant is expected to see this figure rise to approximately 103bhp. The torque output is likely to remain consistent at 112Nm. The engine will continue to be paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The standard Speed Twin 1200 already includes a robust specification, such as a non-adjustable 43mm Marzocchi USD fork, Brembo M50 brake calipers, Metzeler Racetec RR tires, and a powerful 1,200cc parallel-twin engine generating 100 horsepower and 112Nm of torque. The RS variant is anticipated to enhance these features with upgraded components and may incorporate the Thruxton’s engine, which delivered 105 horsepower.
