Triumph Teases New Trick with Speed 400-Based Model

Triumph Motorcycles has teased a new model derived from its popular Speed 400 platform. The upcoming motorcycle, scheduled for launch on September 17.

The teaser image showcases bar-end mirrors, a distinctive feature that sets this model apart from the standard Speed 400. While the exact nature of the new model remains unknown at the moment, it is likely to share the core mechanical components of its predecessor.

Several possibilities exist for this new offering. It could be a limited-edition variant with additional accessories or a sportier version tailored for enthusiasts. The Thruxton 400, a cafe racer variant previously spotted testing, is another potential candidate. However, the final product may be a surprise with a different direction.

The Triumph Speed 400, priced at Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is the brand’s most affordable offering. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 398cc single-cylinder engine that produces 40 horsepower and 37.5 Nm of torque.
