Nissan Magnite Facelift To Launch In India On October 4

Nissan is expanding its product lineup in the Indian market. As part of this expansion plan, the brand will launch the facelift version of the Magnite SUV on October 4. It is to be noted that the SUV was first launched in 2020 and has needed a facelift. Until now, the brand has not divulged any details of the updated version of the SUV. However, the updated model is expected to get multiple cosmetic changes over the outgoing version. Additionally, there might be changes in the feature list of the vehicle.

In terms of design, the Nissan Magnite Facelift will get a new design for the bumper and the grille. This will be complemented by the presence of headlamps which will have a design very similar to the outgoing model. To upgrade the overall appeal, the brand might also add newly designed alloy wheels. Similar changes might be seen on the inside with the automaker boosting the appeal of the cabin with new upholstery and tech. However, the layout of the dashboard is expected to be more or less the same.

The outgoing version of the Nissan Magnite comes equipped with features like a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, a traction control system, wireless charging, air purifier, ambient lighting, and more.

Mechanically, the upcoming Nissan Magnite Facelift is expected to be the same as the outgoing version. This means it will retain the 1.0-litre petrol engine which in its naturally aspirated version gives out 72 hp of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. At the same time, the turbocharged version produces 100 hp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. This NA version is offered with a 5-speed MT or an automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the turbo petrol engine gets the option of a CVT.
