In January 2025, Yamaha announced a significant price reduction for the R3 sports bike. Its ex-showroom price was slashed by Rs 1.10 lakh, bringing it down to a more affordable Rs 3.59 lakh. This price cut positioned the Japanese sports bike as a better value option in the 300cc+ segment. However, sales figures for the R3 in February 2025 suggest that the price reduction has not had the desired impact.
