Sierra SUV Sales Take Off – Tata Motors Delivers 10,000 Units

Tata Sierra has officially hit a big delivery milestone in India as more than 10,000 units have now been delivered to customers within about 46 days of the delivery window opening. The fast market uptake is important because it indicates early product pull for a recently relaunched SUV in a congested mid-size segment and acts as a signal for ramping up production and ensuring strong demand. Tata’s ability to deliver this volume in a relatively short period of time also holds significance for waiting times and resale values as orders for the SUV build up.
