Triumph Unveils Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition for this Year’s Ride

Triumph Motorcycles has uncovered a one-of-one Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition. Created as the headline Gentlefolk Prize for the 2026 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, this machine is based on the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Limited Edition been built as a unique custom with specific materials, styling changes and authentication details that separate it from the regular range.

A very special detail is the Harris Tweed bullet seat, which Triumph says uses authenticated hand-woven fabric from the Outer Hebrides. This comes alongside a unique 15 Years of Dapper anniversary graphic and number board along with its own certificate of authenticity to keep it a collector’s delight. The paint theme with Competition Green and Aluminium Silver bodywork, Aluminium Silver wheels and a colour-coded Competition Green headlight bowl look absolutely stunning.

Its fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks and Ohlins twin rear suspension units with external reservoirs offer sharp handling response. Braking comes from twin 320mm front discs gripped by Brembo Stylema radial callipers backed by a Brembo MCS lever and Optimised Cornering ABS for a safer bite. Sticky Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres come fitted as standard.

The Bonneville 1200 parallel-twin engine in the DGR develops 103.5bhp and 112Nm delivering fruity power for the cafe racer. Rev limit is capped at 8,000rpm. The 270-degree firing order deliver immediate throttle response matching its cafe racer appeal.
