The new Scrambler has been updated in terms of design, features and hardware. Most importantly, the chassis of the bike has been optimised better with added stiffness with the intention of making it handle better. The telescopic forks and monoshock continue to be as they were, with 150mm and 130mm travel, respectively. The ground clearance is also the same at 200mm. The seat height, meanwhile, has gone up by 13mm and stands at 813mm now.

In terms of features, what’s new is traction control, which can be used in 3 preset modes. Dual-channel ABS with switchability for the rear wheel has been retained. The 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine has been tuned to produce marginally more power and torque output than before. It produces 29.5bhp and 30Nm now, and the transmission system has also been optimised. Furthermore, subtle design tweaks and new colours lend it a fresh visual appeal. There are new graphics on the tank and new oval-shaped side panels.

The Yezdi Scrambler mainly competes against the Triumph Scrambler 400X and Royal Enfield Scram 440.
