Vespa Tech 80th Special Edition Unveiled

  • Vespa Tech 80th shown in India
  • To be available with 125cc and 150cc engine options
  • Prices will be released soon

Vespa has unveiled the Tech 80th special edition scooter to mark its 80th anniversary. It draws visual inspiration from the 1946 original Vespa while incorporating elements from the current range. It will be available in 125cc and 150cc iterations and their prices will be announced soon.

The commemorative model gets a unique Verde Pastello green paint, inspired by the colour used on some of the first Vespa models from the 1940s. The bodywork carries a gloss finish with satin-finished details, and the same green shade extends to parts like the front shield trim, grab handle, mirrors, switchgear, and front suspension link. It also features darker tone-on-tone elements on the seat, footrest inserts, and handle grips.

The wheels are styled after the original Vespa 98 and are finished in the same green shade with a diamond-cut effect on the rim channel. For distinction, the front apron gets a Vespa logo along with an ‘80th’ badge, while the rear sports an ‘80 years of Vespa Est. 1946’ emblem.

The Tech 80th edition will be sold in India as a limited-run model. Meanwhile, the brand will celebrate this milestone with a global event in Rome from 25 to 28 June 2026.
