Harley-Davidson X440 Prices Increased

  • Price increment ranges between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 5,000
  • X440 receives the biggest price increment

Harley-Davidson recently increased the prices of its entry-level, made-in-India motorcycle, the X440. The motorcycle has witnessed a price increment of up to Rs. 5,000, and it varies depending on the variant.

The entry-level Vivid trim is now Rs. 1,000 more expensive and costs Rs. 2.36 lakh. The S model, meanwhile, has seen a hike of Rs. 4,000, and the price has gone up to Rs. 2.59 lakh. The top-end X440 T, which was launched at Rs. 2.79 lakh, now sets you back by Rs. 2.84 lakh after an increment of Rs. 5,000 (all prices are ex-showroom). The reason for the price revision is supposed to be the recent bump in raw materials and manufacturing costs.

The X440 T is the newest member of this family, as it debuted in December last year. It is not only differently styled as compared to the Vivid and S, but also gets more tech, such as a new ride-by-wire throttle, two riding modes (Road and Rain), and switchable traction control. Powering the bike is the same 440cc, air-oil cooled, single cylinder engine, putting out a healthy 27bhp and 38Nm of torque.

The Harley-Davidson X440 series competes against the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, and Honda Hness CB350. Notably, all these contenders are more affordable than the T variant of the X440.
