Summary
Mercedes-Benz introduced the A45 S 4Matic+ in India on 19 November 2021. It comes with the world’s most powerful 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine. With the launch of this high-performance A45 S, the carmaker’s AMG lineup now comprises 13 vehicles in the country.
Exterior
Thanks to the AMG kit and overhauled body panels, this AMG A45 S stands out in the crowd. Unlike the regular A-Class hatchback, the A45 S gets a new bonnet, a wider Pan-Americana style grille, a new bumper with large air inlets, bulged wheel arches to accommodate bigger 19-inch wheels, quad exhaust tips, rear diffuser and a spoiler. Apart from that, it gets multi-beam LED headlights, AMG suspension, AMG performance package and suchlike.
Interior
The familiar interior of the A45 S 4Matic+ features a few AMG elements such as steering wheel, sports seats, AMG performance menu in the MBUX displays and AMG-specific decorative stitching. Meanwhile, the cockpit comes upholstered in a combination of Artico artificial leather and Dinamica microfibre. In addition, there are two 10.25-inch displays and a 12-speaker, 590-watt Burmester sound system.
