After Harrier.ev, Tata Motors Now Introduces Lifetime Battery Warranty On Nexon.ev And Curvv.ev: Complete Details Here

Tata Motors is now offering a lifetime battery warranty to all first-time owners of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev electric SUVs. This coverage applies to the 45 kWh battery variants of both vehicles. This initiative, initially launched with the Harrier.ev, has now been extended to the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev in response to positive customer feedback, according to a statement from Tata Motors.

Existing first-time customers are also eligible for this lifetime battery warranty. The company stated that by introducing this new scheme, they have “removed one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.” Many potential electric vehicle buyers are often concerned about the costs associated with battery replacement and the long-term health of the battery.

In addition to the warranty package, Tata Motors will offer a benefit of Rs 50,000 to current Tata EV owners who wish to upgrade to the Curvv.ev or the Nexon.ev.

Talking about the benefit of Lifetime HV Battery Warranty to the customer, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “By democratising premium EV technology, we have played a significant role in advancing India’s EV category’s exponential growth.
