The brand has confirmed that the new performance SUV will launch in India on March 17, 2026. Interested customers can now reserve the vehicle with an initial booking amount of Rs 5 lakh through the official Audi India website or via the myAudi Connect application.

Power And Performance

The Audi SQ8 sits at the sportier end of Audi’s popular Q-series lineup. While the standard Q8 focuses on luxury and comfort, the SQ8 takes things a step further with performance-focused engineering.

This SUV is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI petrol engine that produces 373 kW which is around 500 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque.

Torque refers to the twisting force generated by the engine, which helps the vehicle accelerate quickly and pull strongly at higher speeds. Due to this powerful engine, the SQ8 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, which is extremely quick for a large SUV. Its electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h, which places it firmly in the high-performance luxury category.
