Bajaj Chetak 3001 Launched In India With 127 km Range

Bajaj Auto has launched its latest electric offering, the Chetak 3001, in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 99,990. This new model, built on the updated Chetak 35 series platform, is a step up from the earlier Chetak 2903. The Chetak 3001 is powered by a 3.0 kWh battery that delivers a claimed range of 127 km on a single charge. It supports charging from 0% to 80% in about three hours and fifty minutes with a 750 W charger, making it suitable for daily use without long charging downtimes.

A major design improvement in the Chetak 3001 is the floorboard-mounted battery, which helps lower the scooter’s centre of gravity and improves overall ride balance and stability. In addition to performance, Bajaj has focused on durability by giving the scooter a metal body, a standout feature in this segment where most rivals use plastic.
