Bajaj Launches Its Most Affordable Electric Scooter: Offering 151 KM Range on One Charge

Bajaj has recently introduced a new entry-level variant of its popular electric scooter, the Chetak. The a 3.5 kWh battery pack and boasts a claimed top speed of 63 km/h. The scooter is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable model in the electric scooter’s 35 series lineup. This variant shares the same powertrain and hardware with the Chetak 3501 and Chetak 3502 but includes fewer features.

Chetak 3503 Offers 151 KM Of Range

The new Chetak 3503 has a 3.4 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 151 km, slightly less than the higher trims. It also offers hill-hold and riding modes (Eco/Sports). Charging from 0% to 80% takes approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes.

As the base variant in Chetak’s lineup, the 3503 lacks features such as sequential blinkers and full app connectivity. However, it still offers a decent set of amenities, including a coloured LCD display that can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth for call and music management. Additionally, the scooter provides 35 litres of boot space.

The Chetak 3503 is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the other models in the 35 Series, the Chetak 3501 and 3502, are priced at Rs 1.29 lakh and Rs 1.22 lakh, respectively.
