Bajaj Set to Launch Pulsar NS400 with 400cc Engine in 2024?

Bajaj Auto is reportedly in the works to introduce a 400cc version of their popular Pulsar series, expected to be named the Pulsar NS400. The anticipated launch for this new model is scheduled for the year 2024.
The Pulsar NS400 is said to be built upon a modified version of the NS200’s chassis, with adjustments to accommodate the larger engine, resulting in a slightly heavier frame. In terms of design, it is expected to follow the sporty aesthetics characteristic of the NS range, featuring elements like a bikini fairing at the front, tank extensions, and a streamlined tail section. Notable features may include a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and an LED headlamp.
Interestingly, reports suggest that the Pulsar NS400 will utilize the existing 373cc engine from the Dominar, rather than the upgraded 399cc unit from the KTM 390 Duke. This single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is capable of producing 39.4 BHP and 35 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Reports state that the Pulsar NS400 will slot below the Dominar 400. With this move, Bajaj is expected to cater to riders seeking a high-end option from the Pulsar series.
The Pulsar range has enjoyed quite the popularity over the years. The launch of the new NS400 will definitely bolster the sales of this range in the future. With a blend of established engineering and sporty design, the Pulsar NS400 is likely to garner significant attention from motorcycle enthusiasts when it hits the market in 2024, as has been reported.
