Big Discounts On Kawasaki Z650 And Z650RS This Month – How Much Will You Save?

Kawasaki Motorcycles February 2026 Discounts Explained

The recent GST hike on higher-capacity motorcycles has come as a bottleneck for manufacturers, as the higher up-front costs have proven to be a deterrent for aspirational customers who were planning on stretching their budget for a premium lifestyle bike. Hence, many prospective buyers of Kawasaki, Triumph, or Honda BigWing motorcycles have either had to delay their plan or drop it altogether. To offset this, Kawasaki has introduced discounts on several models in February 2026.

Kawasaki Z650

The Z650 streetfighter and the neo-retro X650 RS have made it to the list of Kawasaki bikes that are offering a discount till February 28. Both motorcycles offer a punchy parallel-twin cylinder engine and get a considerable amount of riding tech to keep young and aspirational riders interested. Here’s a before-and-after cost comparison based on the discounts.

Kawasaki Z650 RS

The Kawasaki Z650 RS, which retails at Rs 7.83 lakh ex-showroom, can be booked for Rs 7.63 lakh ex-showroom in February, with a discount of Rs 20,000. Similarly, the Sugomi-styled Z650’s price has dropped from Rs 7.26 lakh to Rs 6.99 lakh ex-showroom, indicating a discount of Rs 27,000 on the popular streetfighter. One difference that might interest prospective buyers is that the Z650 bikes are still in model year (MY) 2025, while the Z650 RS model year (MY) 2026 bikes are already in stock. It is worthy to note that the above-mentioned prices include the 40 percent GST component that is levied on higher-capacity motorcycles above the 350cc category.

In terms of performance, the Z650 comes with Kawasaki’s 649cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 67 hp at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm. The Z650 RS gets a different tune, making a slightly lower 62.1 Nm of torque. The other big difference lies in the Z650 TFT colour display, which is replaced by a twin-pod semi-digital rider information cluster in the Z650 RS. Despite having a more aggressive style, the Z650 is the more affordable bike between the two and if you are looking for a sporty middle-weight bike that you can use as a daily rider, both options will play that part effortlessly.
