Introduction:
The was unveiled in December 2022 and was launched on 11 January 2023 at the Auto Expo 2023.
Exterior:
In terms of dimensions, the electric crossover measures 4,855mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,495mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2,950mm. Exterior design highlights include the new parametric pixels LED headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, flared-wheel arches, and 20-inch alloy wheels. It also features an Active Air Flap (AAF) that improves aerodynamics when closed and cools vehicle parts when open. In terms of colours, the will be available in three options – Gravity Gold Matte, Midnight Black Pearl, and Optic White.
Interior:
In the features department, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will come equipped with a sliding centre console and glove box, ventilated front seats, two 12.3-inch screens – one unit each for the infotainment system and instrument console, V2L technology, BlueLink connectivity, flush-fitting door handles, all-LED lighting, and 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
