About Hyundai Tucson
Summary
Hyundai launched the new generation Tucson in India on 10 August, 2022. It is available in two variants, Platinum and Signature.
Hyundai is offering the fourth-gen Tucson with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol model gets a six-speed automatic unit, producing 154bhp/192Nm while the diesel produces 184bhp.416Nm of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic unit. A 4WD system will be limited to the top-spec diesel variant of the SUV.
Exterior
In terms of exterior design, the new Hyundai Tucson gets a dark chrome front grille, integrated LED DRLs and LED headlamps. In profile you can see new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails and an integrated spoiler that hides the rear windshield. At the rear there’s a claw design for the LED tail lights, rear Hyundai logo on the windshield, and an LED light bar running the length of the boot lid.
Interior and features:
The cabin of the fourth-gen Hyundai Tucson has been fitted with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, BlueLink connectivity, ventilated and heated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, Hyundai Sensing ADAS, drive modes electrically adjustable front seats with height adjustment, and a powered tail-gate. The Hyundai Tucson is available in five monotone colours, including Fiery Red, Phantom Black, Polar White, Starry Night, Amazon Grey, as well as two dual-tone colours, Fiery Red with Phantom Black roof and Polar White with Phantom Black roof. It is a rival for the Jeep Compass, Citroen C5 Aircross, and the Volkswagen Tiguan.
