The 2023 has retained most of the styling elements from its predecessor. The updated model is available in seven monotone colour options – Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Imperial Blue (new), and Sparkling Silver (new). Additionally, the vehicle is also available in two dual-tone colour options – Interest Red with Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl.
For freshness, this compact SUV now gets a logo across all variants and a Kia Connect logo in select variants – HTX+ and GTX+.
Interior:
Based on the variant, the Sonet now offers semi-leatherette seats with white stitching and a .2-inch colour instrument cluster. The standard feature list now includes side airbags, Highline TPMS, and a rear seatback folding knob. Most of the other interior styling elements have been retained from the outgoing model. Furthermore, select Sonet variants offer curtain airbags, ESC, VSM, BA, and HAC.

Mechanically, the 2023 Kia Sonet is powered by a BS6 2-compliant, 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine mated with a five-speed manual transmission, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a six-speed automatic or the newly introduced six-speed iMT gearbox.
