About MG Gloster
Introduction
launched the 2022 in India on 31 August 2022. This update has brought subtle changes to the model along with a new paint option. Meanwhile, the SUV is available in three variants: Sharp, Super, and Savvy, along with six- and seven-seat layout options.
Exterior
Although MG has updated the Gloster, the SUV carries forward the design language. However, the most significant change on the outside comes from new 19-inch alloy wheels and a new Deep Golden colour option apart from the regular Metal Black, Metal Ash, and Warm White shades. Meanwhile, under the MG Shield programme, the 2022 Gloster comes with three years of unlimited kilometres warranty, three-year roadside assistance, and three labour-free services.
Interior
While the SUV has retained the same interior design, MG has bestowed the 2022 Gloster with the upgraded i-Smart 2.0 connected car technology with over 75 features. Additionally, it gets a handful of new ADAS features, such as Rear-Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Door Open Warning (DOP), and Lane Change Assist (LCA).
Engine and transmission
The 2022 is powered by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with two different versions: the single-turbo version produces 161bhp and 375Nm of torque, while the twin-turbo version makes 215bhp and 480Nm of torque. The powertrain is available in a choice of 2WD and 4WD setup options.
