The MG Hector is available in five variants – Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro.
Feature list:
The five-seater Hector facelift offers a new grille as part of the update.
There are LED headlamps along with 18-inch wheels. Moreover, you get an ADAS badging at the back along with a new signature for LED tail lamps. Even a new paint scheme is added which is called Dune Brown. The other colour options include Havana Grey, Candy White with Starry Black, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black.
The cabin gets a 14-inch touchscreen which is newer and bigger with a modern interface.
The Level 2 ADAS also comes with 11 drive assist features such as adaptive cruise control, bend cruise assistance, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, intelligent headlamp control, safe distance warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intelligent hydraulic braking assistance, traffic jam assist and automatic emergency braking (pedestrian).
Engine, performance and specifications:
For the MG Hector facelift, the powertrain choices remain unchanged.
So you get the 1.5-litre petrol engine which is paired either with a six-speed manual, a CVT or a DCT. It produces 141bhp and 250Nm. On the other hand, the diesel engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit producing 169bhp and 350Nm.
The turbodiesel is only available with a six-speed manual and there’s no automatic for the diesel.
