About MG Hector Plus

The MG Hector Plus facelift was launched in India on 11 January 2023 at the Auto Expo 2023.
Variants:
The MG Hector Plus is available in four variants – Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro.
Feature list:
The MG Hector Plus is available as a six-seater or a seven-seater. With the update, it gets a modern face with a new grille design.
The LED headlamps are more or less unchanged but the LED tail lamps get a new lighting signature.
The 18-inch alloy wheel design is the same as before. Apart from that, a new paint scheme called Dune Brown is now part of the update. The other colour options include Havana Grey, Candy White with Starry Black, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black.
On the inside, the updated interior’s highlight is the 14-inch touchscreen which is bigger than the 10-inch screen offered before. It also gets a newer interface along with many new connectivity features. Moreover, Level 2 ADAS is now offered in the Hector Plus which comes with 11 drive assist features.
Engine, performance and specifications:
Powertrain choices for the MG Hector Plus facelift include a 1.5-litre petrol engine which produces 114bhp and 250Nm.
It can be had with a six-speed manual as standard or CVT and DCT automatic options. On the other hand, the diesel engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit producing 169bhp and 350Nm paired to a six-speed manual. No automatic for the diesel.
