Exterior:

Exterior highlights of the Tata Altroz include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lights, a wide air dam, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, and wraparound LED tail lights. The Altroz also gets a large black insert for the tailgate, an integrated spoiler, rear wiper and washer, and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess.

Interior:

Inside, the Tata Altroz comes equipped with features such as a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a seven-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, mood lighting, a wireless charger, a cooled glove box, steering-mounted controls, and iRA connected car technology. Then there are drive modes, an engine start-stop button, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a height-adjustable driver seat, and a sunroof.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The Altroz comes equipped with three engine configurations – a 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.2-litre petrol+CNG, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The petrol engine comes mated to a five-speed manual and a six-step DCT unit. On the other hand, the CNG variants only get a five-speed manual unit. As for the diesel engine, the transmission option is limited to a five-speed manual gearbox. All the powertrains are BS6 Phase 2 and RDE norms-compliant.

The Altroz is available in multiple variants, including XE, XE Plus, XM, XM Plus, XM Plus (S), XT, XZ, XZ Plus, XZ Plus (S), and XZ Plus O (S).

Safety:

The Altroz has achieved a five-star Global NCAP rating. Its safety features list comprises an anti-lock braking system with brake sway control, electronic brake distribution, corner stability control, dual front airbags, a reverse parking camera, ISOFIX, voice alerts, TPMS, parking assistance, and auto park lock.

Competition:

The Tata Altroz rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20 in the Indian market.
