The Tata Punch EV was launched in India on 17 January, 2024.
Feature list:
Outside, the Punch EV gets full-width daytime running lights and bumper-mounted headlamps. Furthermore, the charging flap is mounted at the front, and the EV rides on 16-inch alloys.
Inside, the cabin of the Punch EV is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, touch-based aircon panel, fully digital and coloured instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot monitor.
Engine, performance, and specifications:
The Punch EV can be had in two battery pack options – 25kWh and 35kWh. The former produces 80bhp and 114Nm of torque, whereas the latter puts out 120bhp and 190Nm of peak torque. Both versions have respective claimed ranges of 315km and 421km.
Variants:
The Punch EV is available in five variants, namely Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+.
Safety:
The Tata Punch EV has not been tested by an NCAP body as yet.
