About Tata Tiago
Tata showcased the Tiago EV alongside the Tigor EV at the 2018 Auto Expo event. Apart from electric charging setup and a battery powered mechanism, the Tiago EV looks identical to its regular fuel powered versions, except for a host of blue accents all round on the exterior. Tata Motors is working with UK-based Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) for developing the battery powered vehicles.
Mechanically, the Tiago EV is expected to be powered by a 30kW electric motor and a 216Ah battery pack. The set up gets fast charging, a 130km range and has a top speed of 100kmph. In terms of features, it does not get projector headlamps or alloy wheels as a part of the package.
