The BS6 2 RDE compliant Tata Tiago NRG was launched in India on 1 April, 2023. The Tiago NRG is priced around Rs 25,000 more than the regular version and packs in visual changes and feature additions.

Exterior:
Visually, the Tiago NRG gets thick plastic cladding around the wheel arches, front and rear silver skid plates, and a contrast black insert on the roof, ORVMs, door handles, D-pillar, and the roof rails. The posterior is also garnished with a horizontal black trim on the boot to give it a more rugged and sporty appeal. The NRG rides on 15-inch hyperstyle wheels and has a ground clearance of 181mm. It is available in four colours- black, white, red and grey.
Interior:
Inside, the cabin gets gloss black inserts, push start/stop button, fabric seats, keyless boot opening, a rear view camera, auto-folding ORVMs, and a touchscreen infotainment system from Harman with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Surprisingly, the automatic climate control has been swapped for manual controls.
Engine performance and specifications:
Under the hood, the Tiago NRG is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that does duty on the regular Tiago. It is tuned to produce 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. The transmission options include a five-speed manual and an AMT unit.
