About Tata Tigor EV
Introduction
Tata Motors launched the updated Tigor EV in India in November 2022. The newer Tigor offers a longer range, more features, and a new body colour. Unlike the previous model, it is now available in a choice of four variants — XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux.
Exterior
The Tigor EV carries forward the same design as its predecessor. It differentiates itself from the ICE Tigor with distinctive wheels and EV-specific blue design elements. Plus, Tata now offers it with a new Magnetic Red paint job. In addition, the Tigor EV comes with a tyre puncture repair kit and auto headlights and wipers.
Interior
The interior remains unchanged in terms of styling. However, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and fresh leatherette upholstery for the seats. Additionally, it benefits from Tata’s ZConnect connected car technology with smartwatch compatibility, multi-regen modes, cruise control, and a TPMS.
Electric powertrain
Tigor EV continues to be powered by the same 26kWh battery and an electric motor. However, its ARAI-certified range now stands at 315km. The electric motor delivers 74bhp and 170Nm of torque.
