The announcement drew significant attention, leading many to question the report’s accuracy since there was no official confirmation from Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, or Geely Global regarding this acquisition.

We contacted Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover to verify the report’s accuracy regarding Geely’s acquisition of Jaguar. Both companies confirmed that the report was incorrect. The publication that initially published the report later revealed it was an April Fool’s joke. Although neither brand has issued an official statement on the matter, they have indicated that the report has been removed.
