Honda City Hybrid Prices Slashed: Complete Details Here

Honda has significantly reduced the prices of the City e:HEV, the hybrid variant of its executive sedan. Now available only in the top-spec ZX trim, the City Hybrid is priced at Rs 19.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which reflects a cut of Rs 95,010 from its previous ex-showroom price of Rs 20.85 lakh.

Earlier this year, in May, Honda had increased the prices of the City Hybrid by Rs 29,000. In addition to lowering the price of the ZX trim, Honda has also discontinued the base V trim.

The Honda City e:HEV is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, paired with two electric motors, producing a combined power output of 124 hp and 253 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission.

This price reduction for the City e:HEV follows Honda’s introduction of a new Sport variant for the non-hybrid City, which is positioned above the V variant and is available exclusively with a CVT gearbox. The Sport variant is priced at Rs 14.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
