New Delhi: Kia India has launched the new 6, starting at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The new EV6 is built to offer more style, power, and advanced features. As an upgraded version of Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle, it aims to raise the bar in the premium EV market and strengthen Kia’s role in sustainable mobility.

The new Kia EV6 comes with 15 upgrades over the previous model, including a sportier and more aggressive front inspired by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. It features a new Star Map Graphic Connected DRL with Sequential Indicators and a GT-Line front bumper. The car also gets stylish 48.74 cm (19-inch) aerodynamic glossy-finish alloy wheels and Star Map LED rear combination lamps with Sequential Indicators, giving it a bold and futuristic look.
Inside, the EV6 offers a premium and spacious cabin for a refined luxury experience. A new double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology adds to driving convenience. The connected car navigation cockpit, featuring a dual 31.2 cm (12.3-inch) panoramic curved display, seamlessly integrates next-generation infotainment for an immersive digital experience.
New Kia EV6 Features and Technology
The new Kia EV6 is equipped with Kia Connect 2.0, which includes Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) for remote vehicle monitoring. Over-the-air (OTA) updates allow 34 ECU controllers to be updated remotely, reducing the need for service center visits.
The Digital Key 2.0, powered by Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, turns a compatible smartphone into a virtual key, enabling keyless locking, unlocking, and ignition—even if the phone stays in a pocket or bag. It can also be shared with others via a simple text message for added convenience. Additionally, the EV6 offers 100+ connected features to enhance the driving experience.

The new Kia EV6 takes safety to the next level with the latest ADAS 2.0 package, featuring 27 advanced safety and driver assistance technologies, including five new autonomous features. These include FCA 2.0 – Junction Turning, which detects oncoming vehicles while making turns at intersections, and FCA 2.0 – Junction Crossing, which helps prevent collisions at junctions.
For added protection, FCA 2.0 – Lane Change Assist and FCA 2.0 – Evasive Steering Assist provide extra support during lane changes and sudden maneuvers, ensuring better control in unexpected situations. Additionally, LFA 2.0 – Lane Follow Assist keeps the vehicle centered in its lane, reducing the risk of accidental lane departures.

Its upgraded 84-kWh battery now offers an impressive 663 km range (ARAI MIDC) on a single charge, making long trips easier than ever. With 325 PS of power and 605 Nm of torque, it delivers a thrilling driving experience. Plus, Kia’s ultra-fast charging technology lets you charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW fast charger, adding more convenience for everyday driving.
