Kia India Records 14.43 PC Sales Growth In May 2025

has reported a 14.43% year-on-year increase in domestic sales for May 2025, dispatching 22,315 units compared to 19,500 units in the same month last year. This marks the fifth consecutive month of growth for the automaker, following strong April sales of 23,623 units.

A major contributor to this momentum appears to be the launch of the new Carens Clavis MPV on May 23. While official booking or delivery figures for the Clavis have not been revealed, Kia says customer response has been positive. “With Clavis, we are looking forward to setting new benchmarks in the segment and making it more dynamic than ever before,” said Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales & Marketing, Kia India.

Since beginning operations in August 2019 at its Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh, Kia India has dispatched over 1.5 million vehicles. This includes 1.2 million units sold in the domestic market and 367,000 units exported to global markets.
