KTM Cup Season 3: Johann Emmanuel, Lani Zena Fernandez, and Karthik R win

KTM India has concluded the third season of the KTM Cup, its flagship customer racing programme, with the grand finale held at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

In the KTM Cup Pro category, Johann Emmanuel emerged as the winner, while Mohammed Mikail and Jagadeesh secured second and third positions respectively.

Lani Zena Fernandez bagged the top spot in the Women’s category, followed by Saimah Ajaz Baig and Jagathishree Kumaresan.

Meanwhile, Karthik R. took the win in the Amateur category, with Jobin Kharmalki and Aravind S. finishing second and third, respectively.

What was the icing on the proverbial cake for these riders was the presence and involvement of MotoGP legend and KTM Factory test rider, Dani Pedrosa.

He mentored the finalists and also rode with them to help with bettering the lines and improve their pace on the fast and super technical Kari Motor Speedway.

All riders competed on company-provided KTM 390 Duke motorcycles throughout the championship. The winners from each category will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid trip to the Austrian Grand Prix, which will include exclusive pit access and a visit to the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen, Austria.
