KTM To Launch This Dual-Sport Bike In India Soon; Shares Platform With The 390 Adventure

The Austrian manufacturer has recently dropped a teaser which hints at the arrival of the dual-sport bike to Indian shores “very soon.” Sharing its platform with the , the 390 Enduro R is a hardcore off-roader which is also road-legal. It packs serious all-terrain hardware and uses the same 398cc LC4c engine that does its duty on the 390 Duke.

The 390 Enduro R uses a steel trellis frame. It rides on USD forks at the front with a monoshock at the back. Both offer a suspension travel of 230 mm. The seat height is relatively high at 890 mm. But it comes with an impressive ground clearance of 272 mm. Being a dual-sport, the 390 Enduro R comes with chunky off-road tyres. It tips the scales at 159 kg.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine Specifications

On offer will be the same 398.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that does its duty on 390 Duke. The engine cranks out 45 hp and 39 Nm of peak torque. It pairs with a 6-speed gearbox.

When launched, the 390 Enduro R will be the flagship dual-sport motorcycle from KTM in India. Its prices are expected to start at Rs 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
