Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition Unveiled: A Tribute To Camel Trophy Legacy

Land Rover has revealed a special edition of its iconic off-roader: the . Inspired by the legendary Camel Trophy events of the 1980s and 90s, this new variant of the Defender 110 brings a nostalgic twist. The Trophy Edition will make its first public appearance at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and is already open for orders in the UK.

Available in two heritage-inspired shades, Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green, the SUV also sports a contrasting black bonnet, roof, and scuff plates. Trophy-style decals and 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres complete the rugged look.

But it’s not just about appearances. The Defender Trophy Edition is built for serious adventure. It comes fitted with a snorkel that boosts its water-wading depth to 1.2 metres, and customers can add optional accessories like a heavy-duty roof rack, side panniers, and a deployable ladder. A matte protective wrap is also available to safeguard the paint.

In true Camel Trophy spirit, Land Rover is also launching a global off-road competition under the Defender Trophy banner. Enthusiasts from over 50 countries will get the chance to take part, with the challenge culminating in a grand finale in Africa set for late 2026.
