On the outside, the Defender Octa’s unique bits include redesigned front and rear bumpers. These give it a distinctive look from the standard Defender and improve the Octa’s approach and departure angles. In addition to this, the Octa comes with more ride height, extended wheel arches, quad-exhaust tips, and new wheels ranging 20-22 inches. The Octa comes with a diamond graphic, a gloss black diamond, and a machined and sandblasted titanium disc.
Octa: Interior
The Defender Octa’s interior is luxurious and feature-loaded. It offers performance seats and a 700 W 15-speaker Meridian-sourced surround sound system. The Octa mode also revises ABS calibration, adjusts cabin illumination, tweaks exhaust sound, and features an off-road function.
Land Rover Defender Octa: Engine Specifications
The Defender Octa’s power comes from a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 626 hp and 800 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Land Rover claims the Octa can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. The Octa has a water-wading capacity of 1 meter, which is 100 mm more than the standard Defender. The Ground clearance stands at an impressive 323 mm.
