Mahindra Reports 18% Growth In Utility Vehicle Sales For June 2025; Exports Remain Stable

In June 2025, Mahindra and Mahindra sold 47,306 passenger vehicles in the domestic market, reflecting an 18% year-on-year increase from June 2024, when sales totalled 40,022 units. All passenger vehicle sales for Mahindra last month came from utility vehicles, as the company does not offer any cars or vans in its passenger vehicle lineup in India. The brand’s commercial vehicle sales for June 2025 reached 20,575 units.

Year-to-date sales for Mahindra stood at 152,067 units, marking a 22% increase compared to the same period last year, when sales were at 124,248 units. Exports for the automaker in June 2025 totalled 2,634 units, representing a modest 1% increase from the same month last year, which saw exports of 2,597 units. Year-to-date exports for Mahindra reached 9,667 units, up by 36% from the same period last year when they were at 7,125 units.

Commenting on Mahindra and Mahindra sales performance in June 2025, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said, “In June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, a growth of 18%, and total vehicle sales of 78,969 units, a 14% growth compared to the same month last year. The quarter ended on a very positive note for us, marking the highest quarter ever for SUVs.”
