Mercedes-Benz has introduced a highly exclusive version of its luxury off-roader, the Mercedes-AMG G63 Collector’s Edition, in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 4.30 crore (ex-showroom), this special edition SUV is limited to just 30 units across the country. Bookings have opened, and deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

What makes this edition stand out is its India-inspired design theme, a first for the brand. The SUV is available in two custom paint finishes—Mid Green Magno, representing the greenery of the monsoon season, and Red Magno, reflecting the iron-rich Indian soil. Each unit carries a ‘One of Thirty’ plaque on the rear spare wheel cover and rolls on distinctive 22-inch AMG alloy wheels finished in gold.

Inside, the cabin is tailored for luxury and individuality. It features a two-tone interior with Catalana Beige and black Nappa leather upholstery, along with open-pore walnut wood trim. Buyers can personalise the vehicle even further by engraving their name on the dashboard grab handle, adding a unique, handcrafted touch.

Under the hood, the SUV retains the standard AMG G63’s powerful setup. It uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque, with an additional 22 hp boost from the electric motor. The engine is mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

This limited-edition model is not available to the general public. It’s offered only to existing customers of Mercedes-Benz’s high-end portfolio, underlining its exclusivity. With the regular G63 already commanding a wait time of 12 to 18 months in India, the demand for custom and special edition models remains strong.
