Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric Arrives In Bengaluru – Variant Indicates 792 Km Range For India

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric in Bengaluru, India with a claimed WLTP range of up to 792 km, among the highest for any EV announced here. This is significant because Indian luxury EV buyers consider range and charging convenience as important factors after switching from petrol sedans. The new CLA Electric comes with Mercedes’ MMA electric platform, efficient drivetrain and a 800V fast-charging system that is optimised for long-distance driving. The bookings will open on March 10, whereas the launch will take place in April. For the Indian market, the CLA Electric marks the beginning of a new era of efficient electric mobility that is not limited to city driving.
