This edition focuses heavily on rear seat comfort, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer to be chauffeured. The rear seats can recline up to 38 degrees and come equipped with massage functions and lumbar support. A dedicated Chauffeur Package adds another layer of convenience for passengers seeking a first-class ride. Nappa leather upholstery and refined interior details further enhance the cabin’s upscale ambience.

One of the highlights of the EQS 580 Celebration Edition is its tech-laden interior. The dashboard sports the massive MBUX Hyperscreen setup, a combination of three displays: a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a large 17.7-inch OLED touchscreen in the centre, and a 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. Rear passengers aren’t left out either, with twin 11.6-inch entertainment screens and a 7-inch tablet to control various cabin features.

Under the hood, or rather, beneath the floor, is a 108 kWh battery pack powering dual electric motors that deliver a combined output of 543 PS and 858 Nm of torque. The EV offers an ARAI-certified range of over 800 km on a full charge, putting it among the longest-range electric cars available in India today. Advanced features like MBUX Augmented Reality navigation assist the driver with intuitive visual cues during driving. On the safety front, Mercedes has packed in everything from multiple airbags to a 360-degree camera, active park assist, and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), ensuring top-notch safety.
