This was followed by the announcement that the company will be referring to the new electric micro hatchback as in India, internationally this car is known as the Air . Now as we near the launch of the the company has shared the details about the infotainment system of the Comet EV.
India today shared details of the entertainment system of its upcoming electric micro hatchback Comet EV. According to the details shared by the company, it will feature a big horizontal screen on the dashboard consisting of a digital instrument cluster and digital infotainment system. The digital infotainment system will measure 10.25-inch and the digital instrument cluster will measure 10.25-inch as well. The infotainment system will also support widgets, voice control, navigation and a range of connectivity and entertainment options.
The Comet EV will be the smallest car India when it will be launched, it measures around 2.9 meters in length. It is expected to boast a 20-25 kWh battery pack and which should return a range of around 150 km on a full charge. It is also expected to have a power output of around 40 bhp.
MG Motor India intends to break into the entry level EV segment with the introduction of Comet EV, a small electric car could very well be a sustainable solution for urban mobility needs. The company hasn’t revealed much about the car but is expected to be introduced in the price range of Rs 10 to 15 lakh in the Indian market.
