MG Updates Its Tata Harrier-Rivalling SUV For 2025: Here’s What’s New

MG Motors has updated the Hector SUV for 2025, making it E20 compliant. This update aligns with the government’s directive that all vehicles manufactured after March 2025 must be compatible with E20 fuel. Additionally, MG Motors has launched a limited-time promotion called the “Midnight Carnival.” As part of this offer, 20 lucky buyers of the Hector SUV will win a trip to London, along with benefits worth up to Rs 4 lakh. Prices for the Hector start from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

No change has been made to the Hector’s powertrain. The SUV is equipped with a 1.5-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine that produces 142 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic.
