MG Windsor EV To Get Panoramic Sunroof In India

JSW MG Motor India is preparing the stage for the launch of Windsor EVs in the Indian market on September 11. Before the launch, the brand has been teasing the vehicle and revealing certain details via pictures and videos. Adding to the list, the brand has released a new teaser revealing the sunroof of the vehicle. It is to be noted that a panoramic sunroof is one of the features that multiple brands have started offering on mass-market cars.

In other teasers, the brand has given a sneak peek at the design of and interior of the vehicle. The upcoming MG Windsor EV will feature a sleek and modern yet simple design, including stylish LED headlights and an illuminated logo at the front. The electric vehicle is also expected to come with a sunroof and a five-seat configuration, measuring 4.3 meters in length.

Inside the Windsor EV, the layout will be a rather simple design, with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a few physical controls, rear AC vents, and seating for three people in the back. The vehicle will also be equipped with three-point seat belts, rear center armrests, and faux leather seats with a honeycomb-like pattern, and the rear seats will have reclining features.

While specific details about the battery for the Indian variant are currently unknown, the global Wuling Cloud EV is offered with two battery options. These options include a 37.9kWh battery with a range of 360km and a 50.6kWh battery providing a range of 460km on a single charge. Both variants come with a 134hp electric motor located on the front axle. Once fully drained, the battery can be fully charged using an AC charger within 7 hours. If using a DC charger the battery can be charged from 80 percent in over 30 minutes.
