Bezzecchi took control of the race early on after pipping Pole sitter Fabio Di Giannantonio before going into Turn One. Meanwhile, Ducati Lenovo Factory Team’s Marc Marquez slotted behind Diggia, with Jorge Martin on the second Factory Aprilia in hot pursuit. As the race progressed, Marco built a lead of over 1.5 seconds and looked firmly in control.

As hard as the field tried, they could not close the gap to Marco who went on to win the Brazilian Grand Prix and step up into the lead of the MotoGP World Championship.

Marc vs Martin vs Diggia

Behind Marco, there was a three way battle for P2. Marquez was putting a lot of pressure on Diggia and while the duo engaged in battle, Martin waited patiently for either to make a mistake. His turn finally came when Marquez and Diggia ran a bit wide, allowing Martin to swoop in and grab P2.

The battle for the final podium position proved to be one of the highlights of the race. Fabio Di Giannantonio and reigning world champion Marc Márquez engaged in a tense fight in the closing laps, exchanging positions more than once. Di Giannantonio ultimately held his ground to cross the line in third place, leaving Márquez to settle for fourth.
