New Bajaj Dominar 400 Teaser Out: India Launch Expected Soon

Bajaj has dropped the first official teaser of the new Dominar 400. The image does not show much except for the silhouette of the motorcycle. While major changes are unlikely, the new Dominar 400 could feature slightly revised styling and a big jump in its feature list. Though not confirmed, Bajaj could also bring an update for the Dominar 250 alongside.

The silhouette of the Dominar 400 displayed looks identical to the model on sale right now. What’s most likely is that this update will bring a new dashboard, similar to what we saw on the Pulsar NS400z. This will be a fully digital LCD display, offering features such as navigation and smartphone connectivity. Leaked images of the updated model reveal that Bajaj has removed the tank-mounted secondary display with this update.

Bajaj is unlikely to fiddle with the Dominar 400’s 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40 hp and 35 Nm of peak torque. The 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch will also be carried forward as it is. Like before, the Dominar 400 will also continue to feature four riding modes. Prices could see a slight revision. The current model retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
