New Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z with 350cc Engine to Launch Soon

  • Ex-showroom price unchanged
  • Will be powered by a 349cc engine
  • Official launch soon

After rolling out the updated Bajaj Dominar 400, Bajaj Auto is now gearing up to introduce the revised Pulsar NS400Z with a downsized 349cc engine. The updated bike has already started reaching dealerships across India, hinting at an imminent launch in the coming weeks.

While the ex-showroom price of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has remained unchanged, the overall on-road price will see a noticeable drop. This is primarily due to lower third-party insurance costs for motorcycles under 350cc, which is nearly 50 per cent lower than bikes above 350cc.

Powering the updated Pulsar NS400Z will be a 349cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.04bhp at 9,000rpm and 33.2Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. Compared to the outgoing model, the output figures have dropped by 2.5bhp and 1.8Nm. More importantly, the torque now arrives higher in the rev range, up from 6,500rpm earlier to 7,500rpm now, suggesting that the new motor could feel slightly peakier in its power delivery.

Apart from the revised engine, the rest of the motorcycle is expected to remain unchanged. The NS400Z will continue to offer the same styling, features, and cycle parts as before. With the bike already reaching dealerships, Bajaj is likely to officially launch the updated Pulsar NS400Z soon.
