2024 Maruti Dzire Leak: Maruti Suzuki recently launched the latest generation of the Swift in the Indian market. Since then, all the heat of anticipation shifted towards the next big launch i.e., Dzire. With all the attention towards the compact sedan, there have been multiple occasions when the car was spotted testing covered in camouflage. However, the design details were kept a secret because of all the covers. But that changes now with the latest spy shots pre-maturely revealing the design of the latest generation of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire in all its glory.
New Dzire: More Upclass Design?
Based on the pictures, the latest iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire breaks the pattern of its predecessor with a design that has major differences. Also, the new Dzire moves away from ‘Swift-inspired’ theme and this is a big change considering the compact sedan shares its Heartect platform with the popular hatchback. These differences in the sedan’s design can be spotted in the form of a completely new front fascia with a very sleek and sharp headlamp. Adding to this, the brand seems to have overhauled the appeal of the car with sharp creases running across the bonnet of the vehicle along with the bonnet and front side panels over the wheel arches. These lines continue to flow toward the rear end giving the car a rather sporty appeal. Following the pattern, the rear end is refreshed with new wrap-around LED tail lights with a seemingly large boot which is reminiscent of the outgoing version of the sedan. To complement all of it the brand has added newly designed alloy wheels to the mix.
New Maruti Suzuki Dzire To Get Sunroof
Another element that grabs the most attention is the presence of a sunroof. To add to it, the cabin will get a complete overhaul. However, this might share a few similarities with the Swift and come with lighter tones in the cabin. On the tech side, the brand is expected to have a 9-inch free-floating infotainment screen and features like a climate control system among other things.

In terms of powertrain, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be similar to the 2024 Swift. It is expected to get the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine. This unit in the newly launched hatch gives out 82 hp of power and 112 Nm of torque. These stats change for the CNG-powered version and stand at 69.75 hp and 101 Nm. The power unit in the petrol-powered version is paired to an MT gearbox with the option of an AMT, while the CNG gets the option of only an MT.
Once launched, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be in the arena against models like Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze. Considering the aforementioned facts, the car can be expected to be more expensive than the outgoing version which gets a price tag of Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
